Professional Development Program
The purpose of the IRWA's Professional Development Program is to further the effectiveness of the services rendered to the public by the right-of-way profession and to achieve the aims and purposes of the International Right of Way Association by providing a means for recognizing those right-of-way practitioners who have attained unquestioned professional status, while providing the incentive to other members to participate in a program of self-development through education as prescribed by the International Professional Development Committee (IPDC).

Isn't it time you gained the competitive edge?
Greetings!
Professionals who earn the SR/WA designation have made an important lifelong learning commitment to keep their edges sharp.
The SR/WA designation says, "I have more than five years of right of way experience plus formalized training in a wide rage of right of way disciplines." It's the only designation reflecting evidence of professional attainment in the right of way field.
A recent study substantiated that individuals with the SR/WA designation are more likely to earn higher salaries than those without the designation. Perhaps they earn more because they are more valuable to their employers.
Through continuing education, professional development and specialized ethics training, the SR/WA understands the entire spectrum of the right of way process rather than an isolated function. IRWA's rigorous standards for work experience, demonstrated competency in a wide range of right of way disciplines and demanding examination process provides employers with the highest level of confidence that their right of way projects are in good hands.
The most prestigious professional designation granted by IRWA to members who have achieved professional status though experience, education and examination.
Sincerely,

Dennis G. Stork, IRWA Executive Vice President
